Charming with a fruity and spicy nose, balanced and powerful, it has a light roasted hint (even though it was aged in barrels) that adds texture and generosity. Jeff Carrel은 그르나쉬70%, 까리냥20% 그리고 쉬라10% 3가지 품종의 혼합으로 만들어지고 있는 와인 입니다. 쉬라는 오래된 고목에서 소량 수확이 됩니다. 이 와인은 열정과 재능이 많은 와이너리의 와인메이커인 제프 카렐에 의해 만들어 집니다. 그는 Languedoc Roussillon(랑그독 루시옹)을 자문할 뿐만 아니라 보르도(Bordeaux), 프리오랏(Priorat), 및 부르고뉴(Bourgogne)의 보졸레(Beaujolais)에서 활동하며, 자신의 와인들을 발전시키는것에 집중하고 있습니다. 

그르나슈(Grenache)와 카리냥(Carignan)은 오랫동안 프랑스 남부에서 재배되었고 Languedoc 레드와인의 "조상"으로 표현하고 있습니다. 이 품종을 쇼케이싱 할때 파리지엥으로 태어나 와인메이커가 된 제프 카렐은 "부모님"에 대한 감사의 마음으로 이 와인을"Les Darons"라고 칭하였습니다.
